It's Always Sunny in..Southern California!

I've been seeing pictures of crazy snow storms, and people bundled up in layers for warmth and not just to look cute! It makes me really appreciate where we live! Although, a little rain wont hurt! I mean, we ARE in a drought! But either way, as everyone is braving the cold winter snow, I just thought I'd share some warmth and sunshine in the form of an adorable little boy!!

Romper love

A few days ago, I wrote about one of my favorite IG shops, RAGS, and how much I love their rompers. I got 2 new ones in the mail and you already know I had to get my little man in them ASAP. Here are a few shots of him styled up in the DUH CAMO romper.

A) I LOVE camo, when done correctly! It has the opportunity to look white trash-y so you have to be careful.
B)I LOVE monochrome!
C) I LOVE mixing patterns.
So basically, I'm in love with ALLLL of whats going on here!
The cherry on top has to be his grandpas Army dog tags. SWOOOOOOOOON.

Sunglasses: FJs Popshop @fjs_popshop
Shoes: Adidas

And this is the second romper I bought this week. Ah-Mazing! It says JINX!!!! You all remember right??! So cool!!

I die for his little face. I know I'm biased.
It was hot out, so I decided to fold up the legs on the romper! I paired it with some CAMO MOCCS and Merlot colored slouchy beanie. I know it looks pink in the photos, but, it's not!
So cute right?

Mixing patters is so much fun! As long as you have a common theme, or like colors, your safe!!

Fresh to Death

If you know me, then you know that I love dressing my little man up. Just wanted to share todays OOTD (Outfit Of The Day, in case you are that ONE person who doesn't know what that stands for, lol)

Although, he looks content, he wasn't very happy to be sitting on our driveway. (it was good, natural light, what can I say? LOL) We decided to move it to the greenbelt where he could stare at his shadow allllllll daaaaaaayyy loooonnnngggg!!!!

I Love Love LOVE everything about this whole outfit..but my favorite?? THE PANTS!! Two Little Kings make the BEST quality and unique pants for kids! These are black pants with black faux leather knee patches! TO. DIE. FOR! Ok, so maybe they are thigh patches on Cam, lol. I ordered these in size 12 months so that we could "grow into them"

And the shirt. Fresh to Death. YES. HE. IS! Paired with a cute slouchy beanie and some chucks and were good to go...house hunting...wish is luck!

RAGS

The more you get to "know" us, the more you will know about our (my) obsession with rompers. Not sure what it is about them but I go apesh*t over a good romper. Specifically rompers from literally one of my favorite (ok, ok they're all my favorites) Instagram shops, RAGS!
Cam's been wearing their rompers since he was 10 weeks old...

This is their Geo Star Romper in a cranberry color. Yes, he's too fresh.

This is the DUH romper, in black. I want it in every color and every pattern.
The material is UNREAL. SO. FREAKIN. SOFT! I secretly want it in my size!
These pics were taken in December, so to be "festive" I styled it with a buffalo plaid button up from carters.

Hello!

Welcome to 2ScoopsOfFresh!

Just want to give you guys a little background info on who we are and why this blog was started!
First and foremost, I would like to introduce you to Cameron, the main motivator for this venture..

And then there's me! kissing those irresistible cheeks of his (which i do often btw)!A little about me:  Im very left brained. Artsy, creative, kind of crazy type you know? So it makes perfect sense that I'm a hairdresser. I love all things girly and frilly and pretty! So when I found out I was pregnant..guess what I wanted the baby to be? Yes, obviously a healthy baby is the most important but I was dreaming of lace tutus and giant headbands! Ive always been kind of into fashion and I was obsessed with mini clothes for girls! Naturally, I wanted to find out the sex of our baby ASAP, but my doctor wanted us to wait until 20 weeks! That's HALF WAY! There was no way I could wait that long! As soon as I was 13 weeks, my husband and I went to a 3D Ultrasound place to find out what we were having. 20 minutes into the appointment, the tech said.."ITS A GIRL!"

Oh. Em. GEEEEEEE!! I was SO excited! I couldn't wait until this baby was here so I could play dress up!!

Fast forward to our 20 week doctor appointment. The ultrasound tech was measuring the baby and taking all kind of pictures..I was so nervous and I don't really know why. Towards the end of the appointment, she asked us if we wanted to know the sex of the baby. We played along and said "sure!" We already knew it was a girl, I had bought head bands and even some sandals for this little one.

"Here is the baby's chest...abdomen...and here are the baby's legs..and look! These are boy parts! Congratulations...ITS A BOY!"

What the....?

All of my baby fashion dreams were crushed. I was SO happy to be having a healthy baby, but the shock was crazy!!

Boy. We're having a BOY! All I could see in my baby's future wardrobe were firetrucks and Elmo. Sigh. There had to be more out there..I was sure of it. I scoured the internet..I'm talkin' Google, Etsy, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram. All of it. I have searched HIGH and LOW to find clothes for my son that are different and unique and don't cost a fortune!

With all of that being said..I have found, and continue to find, amazing shops that sell super cute handmade clothes for little ones! Most of these shops are moms, hand making everything from their garages or living rooms and THAT to me is awesome!! Double the goodness! Cute clothes for my baby AND I get to support small business? I love it!

My goal for 2ScoopsOfFresh is to share with you moms of boys all that I have found as far as little boys fashion is concerned!! I hope you will join me for this crazy ride and please feel free to ask ANY questions!!

XOXO,
Araz
